Prepare for an exciting outdoor adventure as the Wild Tots event returns to Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre! This event, designed for children between the ages of 6 and 11, promises a day filled with outdoor activities, games, free play in the woods, and crafts.
The event runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and includes a healthy vegetarian lunch, featuring jacket potatoes with options like cheese, baked beans, and salad. Special dietary requests can be accommodated if informed in advance.
The Wild Tots event takes place at the Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre, located at Burnt Hill Lane, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 8HU. The meeting point will be the Visitor Centre, and further details will be provided through a What3Words invite.
To ensure a smooth experience, it is recommended to contact the organisers before booking if mobility is a concern, as wheelchair access is available for the event. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, including wellies, are also recommended, as the session will be held outside, whatever the weather.
Dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on leads due to a Public Space Protection Order to protect wildlife and delicate habitats. Bicycle parking is available at the event location.
The cost for the event is £28 per child, and funded places may be available. If your child has specific learning, behavioural, medical, or mobility needs, you are advised to contact the organisers before booking to discuss accommodations.
