Winter Nightscape: Karlsruhe's Latest Winter Attraction
A new winter attraction is set to debut near Karlsruhe, Germany, starting in November, offering a unique and enchanting experience for residents and visitors alike. Located in the city garden of Ettlingen, the attraction will provide a place for relaxation, enjoyment, and socialising, as well as a romantic setting for evenings under the starry sky.
The attraction consists of ten heated igloos, each lovingly set with a table, warm furs, heaters, and a four-course Swiss cheese fondue menu. The concept for the attraction was inspired by similar igloo concepts in Baden-Baden, but the magic will stay in Ettlingen.
By November, the attraction will offer an opportunity to trade sun hats for a starry sky experience, complete with candlelight, frosty evenings, and steaming cheese fondue. The menu will also include regional bread, suitable wines, and distillate specialties.
Children up to the age of 6 can eat for free at the attraction, making it a family-friendly destination. The city of Ettlingen fully supports the project, with the planning process reportedly being uncomplicated and quick.
The attraction is designed for romantic evenings, large celebrations, and even as a location for Christmas parties. Inquiries for the attraction have already been made, despite the opening being a few weeks away. The attraction is being planned with a lot of heart and a great deal of time by the initiators, Silke Roth and Florian Grabow.
