Various Critters Inhabiting Holy Cross
At Holy Cross College, a historic institution in Worcester, Massachusetts, a series of intriguing events and announcements have been unfolding.
On Nov. 6, seniors at the college participated in their final course enrollment, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The college also announced the addition of two new academic programs – Clown Studies and Silly Studies – slated to begin in the 2024-25 academic year. George Caldwell '24, the News Editor at Holy Cross, is likely to cover these new programmes in detail.
Meanwhile, Lauren Poltorak '26, a cryptozoologist at Holy Cross, has added another title to her resume. She is now also the Doctor of Silliness. Her expertise in the field has been instrumental in the development of the new academic programs.
Apart from academics, Holy Cross is also home to a variety of enigmatic creatures. One such creature is Tomo, the therapy dog, who is known to have a peculiar trait. While Tomo provides comfort to many students, it seems he is also a beast that steals vital life force from students. The extent of Tomo's power and his ultimate goal, which is the destruction of mankind, remains uncertain.
Another mysterious figure at Holy Cross is the Queen of the Night Demons. This ruler of the Night Demons is said to have a form with geometric patterns and a single eye that vaporizes anyone who dares to look into it. The Night Demons make offerings to the Queen to satisfy an ancient treaty with Holy Cross.
Interestingly, there is also a creature at Holy Cross that gives students energy to complete their assignments last minute. This creature, however, is not observed to have a physical form.
Lastly, the memorial service held at Holy Cross was for an unspecified occasion. The service was held in the Brooks Common Room, a historical site at the college. Buckingham Palace sent a personalized letter of thanks to the students involved, indicating the significance of the event.
As the days pass, the mysteries of Holy Cross continue to unfold, making it an exciting place for students, staff, and visitors alike.
