Tiny Pocket-Friendly Lego Replica of Game Boy Offers Precision
At this year's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025, The LEGO Group showcased a diverse range of highly anticipated new sets across popular franchises.
One of the standout reveals was the Lego Nintendo Game Boy, a brick-built replica of the iconic handheld console. This set boasts impressive build quality and a nostalgic design, capturing the classic device in LEGO form. The Lego Nintendo Game Boy set features clickable buttons and moving dials, making it a near-perfect replica. It consists of 421 pieces and is available to pre-order for an October 1 release, priced at $60.
LEGO also partnered with Universal to present six sets inspired by the upcoming Wicked movie. Another significant highlight was the Lego DC Superheroes Batman: Arkham Asylum. This modular set allows fans to build the iconic Arkham Asylum from the Batman universe. The set includes a three-tiered buildable Arkham Asylum and an inmate van. It is part of LEGO's ongoing DC franchise releases and debuted at SDCC 2025 with strong fan interest.
In addition, LEGO also unveiled a new Stranger Things BrickHeadz collection, tying into the show's final season release this year.
Furthermore, a Lego Art set, depicting a buildable image of the Emerald City and Oz, was also revealed. The set "Emerald City Wall Art" is priced at $160. Another set, Glinda & Elphaba Visit Munchkinland, is priced at $70. The set "Glinda's Wedding Day" is priced at $40, while Elphaba's Retreat is priced at $28. The BrickHeadz Elphaba and Glinda set is priced at $20.
The set "Emerald City and Kiamo Ko Castle" is priced at $80. The set includes two buildable game paks: Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. The new Arkham Asylum includes steps to build the whole thing in a special 24-day Advent Calendar format. The game paks can be slotted into the cartridge slot on the console.
