Tedagua Wins Major Project for Ibiza's Water Security with SW10 Desalination Plant

Tedagua has been awarded a significant project to build a containerized reverse osmosis water desalination plant in Sant Antoni de Portmany on Ibiza. This new plant, known as the SW10, is part of the IDAM desalination plant expansion and aims to secure the island's water supply, especially during potential droughts, supporting the PESIB plan.

The SW10 plant is a modular, portable, and rapidly deployable solution, utilizing cutting-edge reverse osmosis technology. It will have a maximum production capacity of 1,000 m3/day of drinking water, ensuring a steady supply for the island's residents and tourists.

Tedagua has expanded its range of compact desalination solutions with the SW10, joining existing models like the TED SW27, SW13, and SW5. Notably, the TED SW5 can operate in off-grid areas, harnessing renewable energy sources.

ABAQUA has awarded Tedagua and Global Omnium the contract for this crucial project. The SW10 plant is expected to play a vital role in ensuring water security on Ibiza, particularly during dry periods. Tedagua's expertise in compact desalination solutions makes them well-suited for this task.
