Sturdy red walls, an abundance of water, and various tiered platforms.
The Water Amphitheater, a captivating new attraction, has recently opened in Krasnodar's Cloud Park, drawing in a large number of guests and residents. This unique feature, marked on Yandex Maps with a distinctive red dot, stands out from other parts of the park due to its vibrant appearance.
To reach the Water Amphitheater, one must walk through the oak alley in Cloud Park, near Lake of Love and the FC "Krasnodar" academy stadium. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a large, reddish-brown quarry, aptly named as such on social media.
The quarry walls have multiple levels, with water cascading down into small ponds surrounding walking paths. To view the quarry in its entirety or walk around it, one must stay on the second level of the location. Here, multi-level steps provide a place to sit and rest in the shade of trees and bushes.
On the day journalist Yevgeny Melchenko visited the Water Amphitheater, it was crowded with families, many of whom had brought their children. However, it's important to note that children under 5 are not allowed on the territory, and children under 14 can only enter with parents.
On September 15, the Water Amphitheater officially opened its doors, but detailed directions to the attraction are not readily available in search results. Despite this, the location has still managed to attract a significant number of visitors.
In August, a new mural spanning 247 square meters also appeared in Krasnodar Park, adding to the park's growing appeal. Journalist Yevgeny Melchenko recently visited the Water Amphitheater and shared photos with Yuga.ru, providing a glimpse into this captivating new addition to Krasnodar's Cloud Park.
As the Water Amphitheater continues to attract guests, it remains to be seen whether there will be an increase in park visitors due to the new attraction. For now, it stands as a testament to the city's commitment to providing unique and engaging experiences for its residents and guests.
