SPEKTRUM's Culture Kitchen Unites Nations with Arabic Cuisine and Ukrainian Performances
Last Tuesday, SPEKTRUM youth center café hosted a vibrant 'culture kitchen' event, celebrating Arabic cuisine and Ukrainian performances. The intercultural week highlight brought together a diverse crowd from various nations.
The evening showcased Arabic delicacies, prepared by the local team of open and mobile youth work, volunteers, and the integration department of the office for youth, education, integration, and sports (JuBIS).
The cultural experience was enriched by performances from Ukrainian artists Liudmyla Davidulina and Klementyna Pohorielova, along with young dancer Lika Kavarova. The event provided an ideal setting for conversation, exchange, and socializing among attendees, including leaders from the Schwenningen Youth Office.
SPEKTRUM, in collaboration with JuBIS, plans to continue this tradition next year, further fostering intercultural understanding and unity.
The culture kitchen at SPEKTRUM successfully united people from different nations over shared food and performances. The event was a testament to the power of culture in bringing communities together, with plans to continue this initiative in the future.
