Solingen Launches Waste Separation Campaign with Giant Milk Can Kickoff

Solingen is launching a waste separation campaign this June, in partnership with Technical Works Solingen's waste advisory service and the nationwide initiative 'Germany separates. You too?'

Kicking off on Monday, June 3 at 14:00 at Walter-Scheel-Platz 1, the campaign will educate residents about proper waste disposal. The event will feature a giant coconut milk can as a centrepiece. Following this, weekly markets will be held on June 4, 6, 11, and 13 at various locations across the city. Each event will showcase an XXL packaging display and a quiz, encouraging participants to test their knowledge on waste separation.

The campaign seeks to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and waste management. It aims to engage the community and promote sustainable practices.

Solingen's waste separation campaign begins this week, with an event on June 3 followed by weekly markets throughout the month. The campaign hopes to educate residents and foster a culture of recycling and waste management.
