Shopping Spree: collaboration between Hipdot and Peeps results in Easter-themed merchandise collection
In a bid to create unique and playful cosmetic products, several popular food brands have teamed up with makeup companies to launch limited-edition collections. These collaborations capitalize on the appeal of food brands to offer products with limited availability.
KFC Canada's Basketball Slippers
KFC Canada has joined the bandwagon with the introduction of basketball-themed slippers. Designed to keep feet warm without sacrificing aesthetic, these slippers are only available to residents of Canada. In a move to create more buzz, KFC Canada started a "Bucketdrop raffle" for their basketball-inspired slippers, running from Thursday to Sunday.
KFC is not new to collaborating with other brands. Previously, they partnered with Crocs to produce fried chicken bucket-inspired clogs.
Kind's Frozen Smoothie Bowls
Snack-maker Kind is branching into the frozen goods section with their "first-ever" frozen breakfast offering, Kind Frozen smoothie bowls. These ready-to-eat bowls are part of the company's response to the growing frozen breakfast market, which has seen a 7% year-over-year growth, reaching $3.7 billion.
Kind Frozen smoothie bowls are available in four flavours: Almond + Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit, Almond + Triple Berry Açaí, Almond + Chocolate Banana, and Almond + Peach Kiwi Greens.
Hipdot and Peeps Limited-Edition Makeup Collection
Hipdot and Peeps have launched a limited-edition makeup collection inspired by Easter treats. The collection features a six-shade eyeshadow palette priced at $16, with colors reminiscent of sugary snacks. However, the palette is currently sold out on Hipdot's website. Makeup gurus can still grab the palette and sponge set bundle for $40.
Other Notable Collaborations
Other notable collaborations include Dunkin x Tarte, Baskin-Robbins x Laneige, Chipotle x Wonderskin, and Revlon x Guy Fieri. These collaborations have resulted in unique products such as limited-edition lip balms, lip shine balms, lip blading peel & reveal lip stains, and a Rainbow Sherbet Lip Sleeping Mask.
These collaborations not only offer a fun and playful twist to beauty and fashion products but also provide consumers with a chance to own unique items with limited availability.
