Senior Week Celebrations Held from September 15th to 20th, for 31st Edition
The much-anticipated Senior Week 2021 is set to take place in Wiesbaden, Germany, from Monday, September 13 to Friday, September 17. The event will unfold at the Great Hall of the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6, with a varied program planned for Tuesday to Friday.
The week commences on Monday, September 13, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Great Hall of the Town Hall. Angelika Dortmann, Chairperson of the Senior Council, will give a warm welcome address during the opening ceremony.
Throughout the week, senior citizens can look forward to a range of activities. From Bingo and wine tasting to a visit to the Hessenpark and a guided tour through the city forest, there's something for everyone. The highlight of the week is a live concert by the popular band "Boys of 69" at Bürgerhaus Sonnenberg, König-Adolf-Straße 6.
On Saturday, September 18, the Senior Week will conclude with the kick-off event of the Academy for the Elderly at the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6, at 11 am. This event is open to all and does not require registration.
