H&M x Palm Heights Collection: A Summer-Ready, High-End Hotel-Inspired Aesthetic
H&M has partnered with the 5-star hotel in the Cayman Islands, Palm Heights, and its designer, Gabriella Khalil, to release a new 23-piece collection. This collaboration brings a summer-ready, high-end hotel-inspired aesthetic with a focus on the Soho House style.
The top-selling items in the H&M x Palm Heights collection include a diverse range of summer-ready pieces such as slip dresses, knit separates, cargo trousers, capris, shorts, skirts, swimwear, and tops. Accessories like slouchy bags, rope belts, and printed scarves complement the apparel. The collection features a color palette of sunny yellow, earthy tones, and silver, with design elements like asymmetrical shapes and utilitarian references balanced by playful details.
The collection's aesthetic directly references Palm Heights design through the use of natural, earthy tones and utilitarian but playful silhouettes that evoke a relaxed, vacation-ready lifestyle. The visual style incorporates sun-soaked, bohemian influences reminiscent of Mediterranean and coastal retreats, as well as personal touches drawn from travel-inspired illustrations. This results in a look that is both practical and stylish, suitable for summer holidays and casual wear.
Evelina Kravaev Söderberg, H&M Home's head of design and creative, states that the collection aims to capture the essence of Palm Heights, offering pieces that evoke a relaxing moment, entertaining, and fun. Some standout items include beach tennis bats in striped and chequered designs, a chic handheld fan for cooling down in the heat, and a compact backgammon set priced at £39.99, considered a bargain compared to similar designs that can cost around £100.
The collection's design is also influenced by the decor of Palm Heights, as designed by Gabriella Khalil. The central colour palette includes vibrant yellow, inspired by True Joy, Dulux's colour of the year for 2025. Plenty of stripes, one of the biggest home decor trends of this year, can be found throughout the collection. The chic towel design features a striped pattern and chequered trims, and comes in a brown version, a colour with the most dramatic rise in popularity this year.
The bathrobes and towels from the collection are predicted to be popular, as well as the games, which are perfect for home and holidays. A striped bathrobe from the collection is a popular favorite among the staff at our platform office. The collection's vibe aligns with a calm, sun-drenched aesthetic that Palm Heights is known for, blending sunshine-inspired colors and relaxed forms to capture its essence.
Sara Hesikova, a Content Editor at our platform since June 2024, is also the our platform Certified Expert in Training on Furniture. She notes that the collection balances functionality with a summery, artistic flair, embodying the Palm Heights design language through its choice of color, print, and silhouette inspired by warm, breezy environments. The collection's pieces are not just fashionable, but also versatile, making them ideal for various summer activities and occasions.
The H&M x Palm Heights collection's aesthetic expansion includes home-and-garden items, such as a striped bathrobe and chic towel design, that reflect the lifestyle inspired by the vacation-ready Palm Heights hotel. In addition to fashion-and-beauty pieces, the collaboration offers lifestyle products like beach tennis bats, handheld fans, and backgammon sets, continuing the high-end hotel-inspired aesthetic.
