Ikea's products and services are set to make their debut at Best Buy stores across the U.S., marking a unique collaboration that combines technology and design. This partnership will provide a one-stop shopping experience, blending Best Buy's major appliances and technology with Ikea's well-designed, affordable home furnishings.

The collaboration will initially impact 10 Best Buy stores in Florida and Texas later this year, with plans to expand to Pennsylvania, Maryland, Oregon, Arizona, and California. Inside these stores, Ikea will pilot kitchen and storage planning services, offering customers support from Ikea co-workers to plan and order home furnishings. Best Buy's blue shirt employees, meanwhile, will offer advice on electronics.

This partnership aims to expand product access and visibility for both brands. Ikea gains access to Best Buy's established customer base, while Best Buy benefits from Ikea's home furnishing expertise. The new Ikea stores will feature 1,000-square-foot footprints showcasing kitchen and laundry room settings, providing customers with inspiration and enhanced planning support.

Meanwhile, Best Buy's first quarter revenue declined 0.9% year over year to $8.8 billion, and the company has lowered its full-year guidance due to the evolving trade policy landscape, now expecting a revenue range from $41.1 billion to $41.9 billion.

Best Buy's Chief Merchandising Officer, Patrick McGinnis, stated that the partnership will show shoppers what's truly possible in their home like never before. Ikea U.S. Chief Operations Officer, Rob Olson, added that by collaborating with Best Buy, they are creating a one-stop destination for customers to design their dream kitchen, storage solutions, or laundry space with ease.
