Reopened Playground on Pole Road in Probstheida Available for Use
In Leipzig's Probstheida district, the playground 'Am Polenweg' has reopened following a successful refurbishment project. The newly renovated play area spanning approximately 600 square meters now boasts an array of modern play equipment blending harmoniously with the surrounding green spaces.
The revamped facilities include a challenging climbing combination for younger children, a wobbly bridge, a slide, a robust seesaw, and a colorful tortoise specially designed for outdoor play. To cater to all children, a wheelchair-accessible carousel and a wobbly mikado have been installed.
A significant portion of the €118,000 spent on the renovation went towards refurbishing the playground's seating areas. New benches throughout the playground offer a peaceful spot for parents, caregivers, and visitors to relax. Additionally, many new shrubs and ground cover plants have been planted to complement the existing tree plantings.
Thanks to the renovation, 'Am Polenweg' playground is now a more welcoming, attractive, and safe environment for families and children in the heart of Leipzig.
The revitalized Am Polenweg playground now offers a family-friendly lifestyle experience, inviting families to enjoy a vibrant home-and-garden atmosphere. The renovated facilities, complete with accessible equipment and lush greenery, make it an ideal setting for both children's play and tranquil adult relaxation.
