In the spirit of Sochi City Day, the Lazarevsky district has transformed a popular spot! Nestled near the "Lazarevskaya" railway station, a fresh, inviting recreation area has been unveiled, spanning around 800 square meters.
"Back in the autumn, we brainstormed the square concept with Lazarevsky locals, and together we shaped and approved a project," Mayor Andrei Proshunin noted. "I'm thrilled our teamwork has led to this stunning result – another fantastic gift to Sochi residents for City Day!"
Adding to his sentiment, he mentioned that positive vibes from station staff and young mothers suggest the project's success.
The square has undergone a dramatic makeover, boasting stylish sidewalk tiles, comfortable park seating, and a thoughtfully designed ramp for those with mobility challenges. Blooming flower beds dot the greenery, along with two decorative light panels and 10 contemporary street lighting poles that cast a warm, inviting glow.
During the three-month renovation process, the square was given new life – its transformative journey coming to fruition just in time for City Day.
