Puffin Rock Wildlife Exhibition Brings Nature to Life for Kids

A delightful educational experience is in store for young nature enthusiasts this autumn. The 'Puffin Rock Wildlife Exhibition', inspired by the beloved pre-school animated TV show, is set to captivate children, educators, and parents alike at the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray, Co Wicklow, from October to December.

The exhibition, a partnership project between the Heritage Council and Cartoon Saloon, aims to foster a sense of wonder about biodiversity. It is part of a wider initiative led by Oona and Baba, showcasing the diverse flora and fauna that call Puffin Rock home. The exhibition integrates seamlessly with the Irish primary curriculum, particularly in Science and Geography (SESE), and also incorporates elements from Maths, English, Art, and Music.

Visitors can expect to learn about the various habitats and creatures featured in the award-winning Puffin Rock TV series and animated feature film. The exhibition is accompanied by additional materials and information on workshops and nature walks available on the Puffin Rock Habitats website.

The 'Puffin Rock Wildlife Exhibition' promises an engaging and educational experience for all ages. It is set to inspire a love for nature and a deeper understanding of biodiversity. The updated Puffin Rock Wildlife Activity Book is also now available to further enhance the learning experience.
