It's important to note that all clothing brought to the event must be washed and in good condition. Visitors who do not bring clothing for the swap are still welcome to browse and take items from the event. Participants are allowed to bring up to 12 pieces of clothing and take up to 24 pieces in return.

Lina Schwarzott, a board member of THE LEFT, stated that the Clothing Swap Party aims to demonstrate that sustainable consumption can be both affordable and enjoyable. This event is considered a small but important contribution to social cohesion, particularly in times of rising cost of living.
