Montessori nursery holds annual Easter marketplace
On Saturday, the 5th of April, from 10 am to 1 pm, the integrative Montessori Kindergarten situated within the serene surroundings of the Koblenz Carthusian Monastery (Austinstr. 44, 56075 Koblenz) invites the public to a vibrant Easter Bazaar.
The annual event, organized in collaboration with the Parent Council and the Support Association, offers a diverse range of gifts suitable for various age groups. A wealth of artistic, culinary, and literary products will be available, including farm produce, handmade crafts, children's books, fair trade items, and small natural-material Easter arrangements. Visitors can also look forward to tantalizing treats such as cakes, drinks, and savory dishes.
The proceeds from the Easter Bazaar will support the inclusive kindergarten run by the Caritas Association Koblenz, which accommodates and nurtures 30 children with and without disabilities using the Montessori method. Kindergarten Director Martina Nickenig is upbeat about the gathering, expressing her anticipation for a bustling turnout. "Through the remarkable commitment of the parents and the culmination of numerous creative ideas, such an event becomes possible," she says.
The event takes place on the grounds of the Carthusian Monastery, a setting renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and occasional cultural and community gatherings. Although Easter-themed events at Carthusian Monasteries can vary widely, they often feature local crafts, traditional foods, and spiritual activities.
