MERICS Welcomes Roderick Kefferpütz as Senior Analyst

Roderick Kefferpütz has joined the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) as a Senior Analyst, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including working as chief of staff to an MEP and serving as Deputy Head of Unit for Strategy at the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg.

Kefferpütz's onboarding process at MERICS includes a structured induction programme over the first six months, marked by specific milestones. The onboarding support sheet, a checklist for employers, aims to create a comfortable environment for new staff.

Before joining MERICS, Kefferpütz held various research positions at the Heinrich Böll Foundation offices in Moscow, Warsaw, and Brussels.
