Mathematikum Presents Impressive KAPLA Stone Structures During Autumn Vacation
The Mathematikum in Gießen presents a special exhibition during the Hessian autumn vacation, featuring impressive structures made from 30,000 KAPLA stones. The exhibition, titled 'Bold Constructions with KAPLA Plates', is open to visitors of all ages and offers interactive experiences.
The Mathematikum, an interactive math exhibition and museum, has organised this exhibition independently. It invites visitors to build freely or be inspired by existing constructions. A unique 'Pull-Cube' station is available Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm, allowing visitors to transform a flat piece of paper into a three-dimensional cube. Additionally, the Mini-Mathematikum, designed for children aged three and up, is accessible all day during the vacation.
The Mathematikum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm during the autumn vacation. The special exhibition 'Bold Constructions with KAPLA Plates' offers a creative and engaging experience for the whole family. For detailed information about project organisers or partners, visitors can contact the Mathematikum directly.
