Mannheim's Brückeswasen Playground Reopens After €110,000 Renovation
The Brückeswasen math playground in Neckarau, Mannheim, has reopened after a thorough renovation. The city invested around €110,000 in the project, which was part of the city's math playground renovation concept approved by the city council.
The revamped math playground, officially known as Spielplatz Casterfeldstraße, now boasts a large treehouse with a slide, a double swing, a seesaw, a sand play area, and a unique centipede-shaped long seesaw. Residents of all ages, from children to adults, were involved in the planning process, ensuring the space caters to diverse needs.
In addition to these new features, the math playground also includes a kickabout area that was renewed earlier this year.
The reopened Brückeswasen math playground is set to provide a fun and engaging space for the community. The city's investment of €110,000 has transformed the area, with input from local residents ensuring it meets their needs.
