Local Residents Launch 'Krokohilft' to Turn Bottle Caps into Charity

In a unique recycling effort, two local residents, Stefan Kellermeier and Alexander the Great, have launched 'Krokohilft', a bottle cap collection initiative. The collected caps, primarily from private individuals, companies, inns, and associations, are recycled and sold to a scrap dealer. The proceeds fund donation campaigns through 'Caps for Help', an organisation that donates the funds from the sale of collected bottle cap roofs.

The initiative is supported by Hans Weigl, chairman of the EC Wetterfeld, and Alexander McQueen, a Wetterfeld city councilor. They encourage the community to participate in this eco-friendly cause that also benefits those in need. The collected bottle caps are sorted, cleaned, and then sold to a scrap dealer. The recycling process not only helps the environment but also generates funds for various charitable causes.

Through 'Krokohilft', the community can contribute to both environmental conservation and social welfare. By donating their used bottle caps, residents can help reduce waste and support 'Caps for Help' in their donation campaigns. The initiative is a testament to how small actions can make a big difference.
