Le Meurice Unveils Suite 1835: A Temporary Art & Meditation Experience

Le Meurice in Paris has unveiled Suite 1835, a temporary art installation and hotel suite that combines technology, design, and meditation. The suite, developed by Studio Drift, is available from October 8 to December 31, 2025, at €3,850 per night, with a portion of profits benefiting the en saama school.

The suite features motion-responsive furniture that gradually illuminates as guests move around, guiding them through the space. At its heart lies a mirrored cube in the adjoining meditation room, displaying AI-generated digital content that reacts to time and the energy of individuals within. A quadraphonic sound system, synchronised with varying light frequencies, sets the backdrop for guided contemplative meditation sessions. A limited-edition room service menu complements the sensory experience. Suite 1835 is the latest project from Things From., a design label established in 2021 that blends fashion and design, producing handmade furniture in Buenos Aires using local techniques and materials. The label has previously collaborated with brands like Frette, Krista Kim, and Willy Rizzo.

Suite 1835 at Le Meurice offers a unique blend of art, technology, and meditation, providing guests with an immersive, sensory experience. Its temporary nature adds to its allure, with bookings available until the end of 2025. The suite's profits will support the en saama school, though the specifics of the donation and the school's focus remain undisclosed.
