Kicks off Summer Celebration: Autostadt serves up music, excitement, and tranquility
The Autostadt Summer Festival 2025, taking place from July 4 to August 17, 2025, promises an unforgettable summer experience for all ages in the heart of Wolfsburg. Under the motto "Nippen. Wippen. Ausflippen." (Sip. Sway. Freak out.), the festival offers a rich programme of activities, live music, and culinary delights, making it a must-visit event in the region.
The festival features an action-packed programme designed for families, with numerous concerts, fun, and action on offer. Food trucks and stalls throughout the park cater to every taste, serving signature dishes like the Original Volkswagen Currywurst, sweet treats from their own manufactory, crêpes, coffee drinks, and more. Food service hours are from 14:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 12:00 to 20:00 on weekends, extending to 22:30 on concert days.
Music lovers can look forward to 34 national and international artists performing on two stages: the Lagunenbühne (Lagoon Stage) and the Porsche-Bühne (Porsche Stage). Concerts start at 18:00 on the Porsche Stage and 20:00 on the Lagunenbühne, with doors opening at 17:00 and 18:00, respectively. Katie Melua is among the confirmed artists, set to perform on July 13, 2025.
Tickets for the Autostadt Summer Festival are available now via advance sale, with detailed schedules and prices accessible through official Autostadt ticket sales channels. Spontaneous bookings are also possible at the welcome desk in the Autostadt. Pre-registration via the Autostadt ticket shop is required for most interactive activities except the BMX-Experience and Bikeshow and Kids-Parcours.
The Autostadt Summer Festival offers more than just music and food. Interactive activities such as creative workshops, climbing adventures, and beach vibes are available for all ages. The "Cool Summer Island" is open at the Autostadt Summer Festival, offering a beach, bar, and boating experience. Rowing or electric boats can be rented on "Cool Summer Island", and a valid entrance ticket for the Autostadt or a valid concert ticket after 6 pm is required for access.
For the younger visitors, there's an outdoor climbing parcours on the Piazza square for kids aged 5 and up, and a new addition this year is a spectacular climbing tower made of oversized pebbles. Sports activities, musical offerings, and workshops with comedians are also part of the interactive activities.
The "Woodstack", a tower reminiscent of the game "Jenga", stands at twelve meters high, offering an adrenaline rush for those who dare to jump into the void. The "Cool Summer Island" is open daily from 12 to 10 pm during the summer festival, weather permitting.
