Magdeburg: A Magical Day Awaits at the Elbauen Park
On Ascension Day, May 29, 2025, the Magdeburg Elbauen Park will enchant families and children with a day filled with fairy tales, fun, and fantasy. The much-anticipated Princess Day will unfold from 10 am to 6 pm, promising a delightful array of activities such as face painting, games, theater, and a fairy tale disco at the Rose Garden. The event invites all attendees, big and small, to dress up and immerse themselves in the fantastical atmosphere.
For those seeking an interactive experience, the Magdeburg Stage Association e.V. will present "The Elbauen Princess Who Can't Laugh" in the theater. The princess's mood seems gloomy, but the active participation of children may manage to coax a smile from her.
The entertainment lineup will further include the lively Clownine, a clown and magician known for her cheeky jokes, nonsense, and mesmerizing tricks. The show promises unexpected thrills for all ages as the audience plays an active role in the production.
The afternoon will culminate in an awe-inspiring fire and dance show set to captivating music. Fire swallowing, spitting, and other stunning displays using fire rope, fire fans, and fire hula hoops will captivate the audience.
The Magdeburg association Menschenzauber e.V., with its motto "Laughter is Magic," will also participate in the day's events. They will create magical moments for individuals facing challenges in life through unforgettable photoshoots. The association will also provide a complimentary, cheerful fairy tale costume photoshoot for all children, offering costumes and accessories on site. Additionally, the association will provide information about its voluntary projects in Elbe city and invite everyone to join.
The day ticket is priced at 9 euros, with a reduced rate of 5.50 euros. Children between 1 and 6 years old will be charged 2 euros. Free entry will be granted to holders of an Elbauen Park annual ticket or the companion of a disabled person with a 'B' mark in their ID.
