Introducing the Baristas of the Leaky Cauldron - First Installment

At the heart of Hellgate High School, the Leaky Cauldron coffee cart serves as more than just a beverage station. The friendly faces of Roberto, Zoi, Rhett Hoff, Michelle Thornblade, Sally Painter, and Erin Berryman have transformed this humble spot into a lively social hub for students, staff, and parents alike.

Roberto, known for his warm and welcoming demeanour, is a coffee enthusiast with a passion for crafting unique blends and experimenting with new flavours. Outside of work, he enjoys strumming his guitar at the school's open mic events.

Zoi, on the other hand, is celebrated for her creativity, often decorating the coffee cart with seasonal themes and handmade artwork. Her talent for latte art is evident, and she occasionally hosts mini competitions for the students. Zoi's interest in botany is reflected in the menu, with herbal teas and natural ingredients making regular appearances.

Rhett Hoff, who works the Monday and Wednesday morning shifts, brings a vibrant energy to the Leaky Cauldron. He loves interacting with the school community and also volunteers for Hellgate Band Parents.

Michelle Thornblade works the Wednesday morning shift, from 7:30 to 9:30 am. She didn't start drinking coffee until she was almost 30, but now she enjoys getting to know other parents and seeing familiar faces at the coffee cart. Michelle has two sons, one a graduate and the other a current junior at Hellgate High School, and they are also hosting an exchange student from Spain.

Sally Painter works the Tuesday morning shift and is a proud parent of a junior at the school. Her drink of choice while working is a double shot latte with two pumps of caramel. Sally finds joy in meeting students and crafting drinks that bring them happiness. She describes herself as "enthusiastic and boisterous due to the occasional caffeine kick."

Erin Berryman, who works the Wednesday morning shift, is looking forward to her younger kids attending Hellgate High School in a few years. She enjoys getting a little glimpse into the world of high schoolers and finds the energy at the school exciting.

Together, these baristas make the Leaky Cauldron not just a place to grab a drink but also a vibrant social spot at Hellgate High School.

The Leaky Cauldron transforms into a thriving community hub where friends and neighbors gather over food-and-drink, fostering lively conversations. Zoi's seasonal decorations and herbal infused menu items complement the home-and-garden vibe within this lively lifestyle destination.
