Improved housing conditions to be provided for 280 additional families
In the cold and vast region of Yakutia, the Kirillins, a family of five, have found a beacon of hope in the form of the state program "Ensuring Quality Housing." This initiative, a key task for President Vladimir Putin, aims to provide decent housing for 280 young families by 2025.
The Kirillins, who expressed their gratitude to the state for the program, chose a contract with an escrow account for maximum security and safety. This decision proved to be a wise one, as it ensured that their funds were securely protected during the construction process.
The program does not specify the source of funding for the social payments, but in 2025, the Kirillins received a significant payment that covered a significant part of their construction costs. Young families, where neither spouse is over 35, and those on the waiting list for improved housing, are eligible for these social payments, which range from 30-35% of the cost of the calculated housing for purchase or construction under the program.
The Kirillins' construction project required some bureaucratic preparation, but the process was smooth. By the end of 2025, the family had successfully built an individual house, a testament to the program's success.
Special attention is given to young families with three or more children and families of participants in the SVO under the program. The Kirillins, with three children, are an example of the program's success. The funds have been used for buying apartments, building individual houses, and paying off mortgages, making a tangible impact on the lives of many families in Yakutia.
President Vladimir Putin has emphasized the effective work done in this area in recent years. Providing affordable and comfortable housing is a priority task as outlined in President Vladimir Putin's decree "On National Development Goals until 2030." As of now, 184 young families have already received state support for housing under this program, with more families expected to benefit in the coming years.
The "Ensuring Quality Housing" program is just one part of a broader national development goal until 2030. It stands as a shining example of how the state is working to improve the lives of its citizens, one family at a time.
