Guide for Parents Attending Bumbershoot Festival in 2025

Single-day admission starts at $142, though prices may vary depending on the source. Weekend passes are available for $150, while the deluxe package costs $350.
Family-Friendly Activities
The Recess District is a hub of activities designed for children and families. Highlights include the Bumbermania Wrestling Program, aerial and acrobatic performances, skateboarding, roller-skating, and workshops. There's even an aerial workshop for kids and an intermediate skate competition on Saturday.
The Fashion District offers a youth-led High Fashion High showcase, makeovers, a fashion marketplace, and various beauty services.
Geodesic domes can be found throughout the festival grounds, with the Cat Circus being a popular attraction for all ages. Flatstock offers printed art and the opportunity to purchase posters by famous artists.
Festival and artist merchandise will be available between stages, and families can explore various themed districts throughout Seattle Center.
Additional Information
The School of Rock House Band will perform at Bumbershoot on August 30-31, with free shows from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Bumbershoot takes place rain or shine, and while re-entry is not permitted, outside food and drink are not allowed either.
