Say cheese, Wiedemann family! Fabiola, Sylvia, and Severin were the lucky 100 millionth guests at Munich's German Museum, the world's most badass must-see destination.

Markus Blume, Bavaria's Minister of Science (CSU), couldn't contain his excitement, "The non-stop foot traffic only proves one thing: the German Museum rules supreme, dominates, and attracts visitors like a shiny gold magnet from Bavaria, Germany, and across the globe." Cheers to 100 million visitors as a mesmerizing reminder of the fantastic work that's been going down in this joint for a century!

The grand anniversary bash kicks off next week, complete with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier's triumphant entrance.

Back in 1903, the place was nothing but a dream in the mind of Oskar von Miller. He yearned to establish an institution where technology and science could parade around shirtless, displaying their wild and unbridled might. With no permanent home, the construction laid its foundation in 1906, set on the Isar Island. Kaiser Wilhelm II and Bavaria's Prince Regent Luitpold were the VIPs at the groundbreaking ceremony. Three years later, the topping-out ceremony was held, but World War I and inflation threw the project into a spinning vortex, delaying its completion. The museum finally saw the light of day in 1925 [1][2].
