"Fürth's Earthly Riches Showcase: 2026 Mineral Days Exhibit Boasts Dazzling Gemstones"

Head to Fürth City Hall for a Mineral Treasure Hunt on February 28 and March 1, 2026!

Ditch the shovel and grab your ticket for an epic treasure hunt at Fürth City Hall, where the event center becomes an El Dorado for mineral, fossil, and fine jewelry enthusiasts alike. Orchestrated by the Mineral Bourses Ria Mayer, this annual bash has been a tradition for over 40 years!

Featuring approximately 50 exhibitors from across the globe, the event boasts over 1,500 square meters of dazzling displays, encompassing everything from jaw-dropping crystals and rare minerals to rugged stones that have journeyed through the ages. The assortment doesn't end there! Intricately crafted jewelry, fossilized seashells, historical artifacts, and home décor items complete the extensive offering.

Goldsmiths and jewelry designers will be on hand to debut exclusive creations—from sparkling rings and necklaces to bracelets adorned with freshwater, South Sea, Akoya, or Tahiti pearls, sometimes encrusted with silver or gold. Bright gemstones, cabochons, and premium materials for crafters and hobbyists wrap up the event. To top it off, collectibles, specialist literature, and geode cracking sessions are all part of the festivities.

This mining extravaganza isn't just for collectors; it's an occasion for the entire family! A popular hit with younger visitors is the geode cracking, where they can dig in and unveil hidden treasures nestled within ordinary stones. Numerous exhibitors also provide family-friendly explanations and interactive activities that make the mineral world more accessible to the tiniest treasure seekers.

Mark your calendars! The fair kicks off on Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with doors reopening on Sunday, March 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ticket prices are as follows: 7 € for adults, 5.50 € for seniors, the disabled, students, and schoolchildren aged 12 and above, and 3 € for children between 6 and 11 years. Two-day tickets are also available at reasonable rates.

If you're heading by train, hop off at the "Stadthalle" U-Bahn stop or the bus stops at Stadthalle Süd (line 172) or Maxbrücke (line 179). For those driving, a parking garage is conveniently located near the city hall, and the venue is fully accessible for visitors with mobility issues.

Don't miss out on the adventure! Check the official event website or contact the organizers for more detail on the Mineral Days Fürth as the date draws closer. Happy treasure hunting!
