Food Festival Taking Place on the Streets, Featuring a Variety of Vendors Specializing in Delicious Street Food
Get ready for a unique culinary adventure as the Street Food Festival on Wheels rolls into Berlin's Gleisdreieck Park on September 20th and 21st, 2025. This two-day event, taking place at the Jules B-Part, is all about sustainable mobility and the growing cargo bike culture.
The festival is easily accessible by public transport, with U-Bahn station U Gleisdreieck (serving lines U1, U12, U3, and U2) just 0.1km away. Alternatively, hop on the M29 or N1 buses, which stop at U Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park (0.4km from the festival location) or Schöneberger Brücke (0.4km away).
As you enter the festival, you'll find a 6-ride card available for 29 euros. Each ticket can be redeemed for a half portion at the food bikes, offering a variety of international street food specialties, including vegan and gluten-free options.
The festival is a showcase for producers, traders, and craft businesses from the cargo bike world, who will be displaying the latest trends, models, and accessories. You'll see creative concepts for offering street food on wheels, such as P3 building workstations and Cooking Roll's foldable tables, all utilising bicycle trailers.
Live painting, street art, musical performances, and special offers for children are all part of the festival program. Saxophonist Lasca Fox will play on his self-built cargo bike stage on Sunday at 5 pm, while internationally known street artist Awer from Apulia (@averart) will enrich the festival with his works.
For the little ones, there's a children's happy hour from 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday, featuring a concert by Krawuttke feat. Marisa.
But the festival isn't just about food and art. Non-profit initiatives and projects dedicated to sustainability, urban mobility, and community will also be providing information on-site. So, not only will you enjoy delicious food and stunning art, but you'll also learn about ways to contribute to a more sustainable city.
Don't miss out on this exciting event! The Street Food Festival on Wheels is set to be a fun-filled, educational, and tasty experience for all ages. See you there!
