Festival showcasing wines and pottery set for October 2025 in Halle
The first Halle Wine Festival is set to take place on the market square in October 2025, running from Friday to Sunday. From hearty dishes to sweet treats, the culinary offerings promise to delight visitors.
On the west side of the marketplace, 15 winemakers and wine merchants, mainly from the Saale-Unstrut/Freyburg-Unstrut region, will participate, offering a variety of wines to sample. The Halle Specialty Brewery will also be serving beer at the festival, with beer available on Friday from 4 to 9 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
For coffee lovers, coffee variations will be available on all three days of the festival. On Friday, coffee will be served from 4 pm, while on Saturday and Sunday, it will be available from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
The Halle Pottery Market, located on the east side of the market square, will run simultaneously with the Wine Festival. Known for its regional significance, the market offers a broad range of colors, shapes, and surfaces, with around 90 professional ceramics workshops participating. Visitors can admire, examine, or purchase a wide variety of ceramic techniques. The Halle Pottery Market will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
To add to the festive atmosphere, there will be musical swing/jazz performances on a small stage at the Wine Festival. Whether you're a wine enthusiast, a coffee lover, or a ceramics aficionado, the Halle Wine Festival promises to be a memorable event. So, mark your calendars for the third weekend of October 2025 and join in the celebrations!
