Festival of Balloons and Music resumes at the grounds of the Kentucky Wool Festival in Pendleton County on Saturday
Balloons & Tunes Festival Returns to Pendleton County on July 26
Get ready for an evening of entertainment, food, and hot air balloon spectacles as the Balloons & Tunes Festival makes its return to Pendleton County on Saturday, July 26, 2025. This year's event will take place at the picturesque Kentucky Wool Festival grounds in Falmouth, from 5 PM to 11 PM.
This family-friendly event offers a variety of attractions, including live music performances, a breathtaking Balloon Glow where hot air balloons illuminate the hills, tethered balloon rides for $15 each (weather permitting), and a Kids Zone filled with engaging activities for young visitors. The Children's Hospital Kids Zone will be offering free activities for children.
Local favourites Jared Redden, a rising Kentucky country artist, The Bunker Boyz, and Nichole Bezold will be gracing the stage with their live performances. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or yard blankets to ensure comfort.
The Kentucky Wool Festival Grounds, located at 48 Concord Caddo Road, just outside Falmouth, will host more than a dozen food trucks offering a wide range of food options. Additional drink stations have been added this year to cater to the crowd.
Organized by the Pendleton County Economic & Tourism Development, the festival has seen improvements such as more seating, expanded family activities, and a greater variety of food and drink vendors. Last year's festival drew a crowd from across the region, and organisers expect an even larger turnout this year.
