Family Engagement Event: AOK Family Day Happening at the Open-Air Museum Fladingen on July 25th
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the AOK Bavaria - Schweinfurt Branch is inviting both AOK members and other interested guests to join them for a fun-filled Family Day at the Franconian Open-Air Museum Fladungen. The event, open to all, is set to take place between 10 am and 5 pm.
The day promises a variety of activities for both children and adults. AOK will be on site, providing information and interactive activities to engage visitors. Proverb tours are scheduled at 11 am, 2 pm, and 3:30 pm, offering a unique insight into the museum's historical and cultural offerings.
For the little ones, a time-traveling experience is available between 11 am and 4 pm, providing a family-friendly journey through history. The Pixi anniversary exhibition "70 years of little books" offers a "Pixi pool" for children to browse and relaxation areas with bean bags and reading tents for adults to unwind.
At the craft station, visitors can create animal finger puppets from felt, adding a hands-on element to the day's activities. For those seeking a taste of the past, the kitchen of the Leutershausen three-sided farm will offer the chance to rediscover and taste old recipes.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable day, AOK Bavaria provides a heat protection info stand with free sunscreen, sun hats, sunglasses, and coloring books for children. A selfie box is also available for special keepsake photos.
Relaxation and refreshments can be found at the pond picnic area, the "Schwarzer Adler" inn with a beer garden, or the snack stall in the historic farmstead from Oberbernhards.
