Exploring the Digital World: MatataLab Offers a Comprehensive Beginning for Children

On September 16th, young learners aged 5 and above are invited to the Digital Kids - MatataLab event, held at the children's library located on Hathumarstraße 7, Paderborn. This exciting event showcases the MatataLab robot, a unique coding tool designed specifically for early childhood STEM education.

The MatataLab robot stands out due to its screen-free, hands-on approach to teaching coding. Instead of requiring a computer or tablet, young children can physically manipulate intuitive programming blocks to control the robot. This tangible, playful method makes coding accessible and enjoyable for early learners, fostering creativity and logical thinking without screen dependency.

At the event, children will have the opportunity to explore the MatataLab Coding Set and a small robot. The set includes blocks like "Songs", "Dance", and "Movement", as well as a Coding Tower for fun programming. By participating in this event, children can engage with digital literacy in a way that aligns with educational goals for engaging kids from an early age.

Registration is required for the Digital Kids - MatataLab event. For more information, please visit the library's website at bibliothek.live. The exact location of the library can be found on a map by clicking "Open map" (Opens in a new tab).

Please note that, due to organizational reasons, children under 5 years old are not able to participate in the event. The Digital Kids - MatataLab event takes place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Join us at the Digital Kids - MatataLab event to experience the joy of coding with the MatataLab robot and take the first steps towards a future in STEM education.

During the Digital Kids - MatataLab event, young children can engage with the MatataLab Coding Set, a collection designed for home-and-garden use that nurtures creativity and logical thinking through screen-free coding. At the same time, the library's lifestyle initiatives, such as this educational event, provide a foundation for digital literacy and a vibrant, innovative lifestyle.
