Rosa Sky Rooftop Lounge Introduces High-Quality DAS Audio System
Miami's rooftop lounge, Rosa Sky, has unveiled a new high-end audio system, courtesy of DAS Audio. The system, installed by 305AV in consultation with DAS Audio, promises to enhance every moment at the popular venue.
Located on the 22nd floor of the AC and Element Hotel, Rosa Sky offers panoramic views of the Miami skyline, exotic tapas, hand-crafted cocktails, and live DJs. With Miami known for its chic lifestyle, DJs, and music makers, the lounge aims to offer guests an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression.
One of the biggest challenges with operating a rooftop lounge is not disturbing the neighbors. However, Rosa Sky's new system, powered by EP amplifiers from the E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio series, has received no complaints from neighbors. This is thanks to the system's focus on controlled sound dispersion, a feature that minimizes sound bleed to surrounding areas.
The system at Rosa Sky is centered around 16 Quantum Series Q-23-T two-way full-range systems. These speakers, designed for short-range coverage and emphasizing vocal clarity, are ideal for the lounge's needs. Two DECO-6-TB two-way ceiling speakers provide spot coverage, while eight Q-10 ultracompact 10-inch subwoofers handle the low end.
The DAS Audio system used at Rosa Sky is a custom version of the Q-43 column passive system, made of aluminum and designed to blend into architectural environments with any RAL color finish. This system improves the experience for guests by providing high-quality, discreet sound enhancement that matches the stylish aesthetic of the rooftop lounge.
John Fiorito, DAS Audio's hospitality and nightclub national sales manager, consulted on the system installation at Rosa Sky. Alan Roth of South Florida hospitality group The Restaurant People, who explained the challenges of designing a system for Rosa Sky, reported that the music at Rosa Sky sounds amazing, and the crowds and DJs love it.
With this new system, Rosa Sky aims to continue offering its guests an unforgettable experience, all while maintaining good relations with its neighbors.
