"Custodian of Cow-manure Bingo Competition" in Vollmerz
On July 26, 2025, the sports field of the Sportgemeinschaft "Degenfeld" in Schlüchner-Vollmerz will play host to a one-of-a-kind event: the Degenfelder Kuhschiss-Bingo. Organized by Jugendtreff Degenfeld Vollmerz e.V., this entertaining game combines elements of traditional bingo with a humorous agricultural twist.
The main attraction of the event is Lucky Cow "Barbie," who will take centre stage. The cow has been given an hour to drop a patty on a 20x20 meter bingo field that has been marked out for the occasion. Each square on the field measures one square meter, making a total of 400 squares.
Participants can place bets on the different squares for a chance to win up to 1,500 euros. If Cow Barbie manages to defecate on a specific square, the participant(s) who predicted it correctly will share the prize money. If, however, the cow doesn't defecate during the hour, the squares where she is standing at the end of the hour will share the prize money.
The Degenfelder Kuhschiss-Bingo will have two rounds on July 26, from 1 pm to 2 pm and 3 pm to 4 pm. Bets can be placed on the day of the event at the Vollmerz sports ground.
The event will also feature food, drinks, ice cream, and a bouncy castle for attendees to enjoy. According to organizer Bendix Fehl, the event details were explained in an FFH interview.
This community gathering serves as a fundraiser for the local youth association, offering a fun and engaging way for residents to come together and support a good cause. The unpredictable nature of Cow Barbie's behaviour adds an element of chance to the game, making it an exciting and memorable experience for all involved.
