The old sandstone house, previously a stationery store named "H. O. Schulze", will serve as the home for this new inn. Renovation work is currently underway, transforming the building into a cozy and welcoming space.
Markus Lippert, the CEO of the Lippert Brewery, has confirmed the rumors and shared his plans for the new inn. He envisions the "Schulze Schankstube am Markt" becoming a "small cultural workshop" over time, hosting unusual bar events like readings.
The inn will primarily serve as a "Franconian beer tavern", offering a wide variety of beers, including signature Lippert brews. One tap will always be reserved for beers from friendly breweries, showcasing the spirit of camaraderie in the brewing community.
