Communication Hub for the Given Subject

The Contact Point Music Region of Braunschweig, a hub for music institutions, ensembles, educators, and enthusiasts in the region, has unveiled its new online platform at http://www.kontaktstelle-musik.de. This project, a model since its inception in November 2009, is funded by the Stiftung Braunschweigischer Kulturbesitz, the City of Braunschweig, the City of Wolfsburg, the City of Salzgitter, and the City of Wolfenbüttel.

Located at Schlossplatz 138, 100 Braunschweig, the Contact Point Music Region of Braunschweig strengthens the exchange between music actors, institutions, and enthusiasts. It serves as a platform for cross-regional projects, supporting and coordinating activities in the music sector.

Juliane Gaube, a staff member at the Kontaktstelle Musik Region Braunschweig, plays a crucial role in this endeavour. The new online platform offers various features, including a virtual music marketplace for classifieds, where ensembles can look for new members, sheet music can be sold, or rehearsal spaces can be offered.

In addition to this, the website includes an event calendar and information on music mediation, promotion, and further training. The Contact Point Music Region of Braunschweig is committed to supporting local musicians and music projects, as well as fostering civic engagement in the field of amateur music.

For more information or queries, you can reach out to the Contact Point Music Region of Braunschweig via email at [email protected] or by phone at 0531 4704826. Alternatively, you can visit their website by clicking on the link http://www.kontaktstelle-musik.de (opens in a new tab).
