The Obertshausen Book Club, located on Schulstraße, has launched a new collection of news souvenirs, aimed at further strengthening identification with the city. The new collection, spearheaded by Anja Sauer, the owner of the Book Club, includes a variety of items such as mugs, refrigerator magnets, and bookmarks, each adorned with popular Obertshausen motifs.

For years, the city has been giving away souvenirs with the 'Obertshausen stamp' at jubilees and other events. The new news souvenirs, however, are now available at the Book Club. On the inner rim of the mugs, an open book with the inscription 'Obertshausen' is depicted.

Mayor Manuel Friedrich expressed his pleasure with the new products, stating that they are always a nice keepsake and everyone loves a surprise from Obertshausen. Holger Bischoff from the City Marketing Association sees the souvenirs as beneficial for the city, stating that city marketing works perfectly with the great Obertshausen news from the Book Club.

The souvenir collection includes mugs with Obertshausen motifs such as the train station, St. Joseph's Church, the Heart of Jesus Church, the Night Watchman, and the Book Club itself. The refrigerator magnet features the Night Watchman motif, while the bookmarks depict the train station and the Book Club.

The purchase of these news souvenirs becomes even more attractive with the O-Card, a points collection system of Obertshausen businesses. The new news souvenirs are not only suitable as keepsakes, but also as charming gifts. However, the article does not provide information about the price of the new news souvenirs or their availability outside of the Book Club.

The new news souvenirs are a creative contribution to promoting local ties, and the city's officials and the Book Club's owner are hopeful that they will be well-received by the community. The founders or owners of the Obertshausen Book Club, however, remain unidentified in available sources. Despite this, the new collection of news souvenirs is sure to be a hit among locals and visitors alike.
