Take a gander at the brand-new rope playground in Düsseldorf's Schlossviertel district!

Over the past few years, the city has been busy sprucing up playgrounds in the urban area, with the latest addition being the rope playground at Carl-Friedrich-Goerdeler-Straße. According to Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller, this playground tops off a series of improvements in the south of Düsseldorf, boosting leisure options for the locals.

The deputy mayor, Cornelia Zuschke, echoed Keller's sentiments. "Constructing the rope playground was made possible through the 'Social Cohesion - Garath 2.0' funding program," she explained. "With the council's recent decision in May, we've also given the green light for future playground and green space redesigns in the upcoming years."

Mattis Ricken, head of the Green Planning department at the Garden Office, elaborated on the new playground's design. "This playground revolves around the theme of ropes. The primary play equipment resembles spider webs and offers a plethora of possibilities for climbing, swinging, and imaginative play," he described. The playground is easily accessible, situated at the entrance of the Schlossviertel district in Garath. The focal point of the new hangout spot is a fresh bluebell tree, nestled amidst a circular bench.

While Aurelis Real Estate, a major property developer and manager in Germany, has been involved in public and green space projects associated with urban districts, there's no official announcement about any upcoming plans for redesigning playgrounds or green spaces in Düsseldorf’s Schlossviertel district as of now[1]. For the most accurate and up-to-the-minute information, reaching out to the city of Düsseldorf’s urban planning office or Aurelis directly would be your best bet.

The new rope playground in Düsseldorf's Schlossviertel district is a testament to the city's ongoing efforts to enhance family-dynamics and home-and-garden lifestyle by creating appealing leisure options. As the playground's design revolves around ropes for diverse forms of play, it also becomes an innovative setting for fostering relationships among the local community.
