Charity run "Beauty-run" garners 2 million rubles in fundraising efforts held in Nizhny Novgorod.
In Nizhny Novgorod on May 24th, the third edition of the "Beauty Run" charity race was held as part of the "Run, Hero!" half marathon. This event, organized by the "Miss Nizhny Novgorod" bureau, aims to raise awareness about charity and volunteer fundraising. The 3-kilometer race was held in collaboration with the "800 Good Deeds" platform, a network of 20 funds providing assistance to the city's needy residents.
Participants included local bloggers, athletes, models, business, political, and medical professionals, alongside Daria Lukonnikova, Miss Earth 2023 super-finalist, and Rad-Margarita Kondus, Miss Nizhny Novgorod 2023. Svetlana Anufrieva, the regional minister of youth policy, was also among those participating.
This year, an impressive 2.3 million rubles were raised for charity – a record amount. Last year, the project collected 1.9 million rubles. According to Ekaterina Chudakova, director of the "Miss Nizhny Novgorod" bureau, the drive to do good deeds and the combination of sports and charity led to this success.
