Bremen's 'Red Beet' Garden Reopens April 1st for Community Gardening

The 'Red Beet' garden, a community initiative in Bremen, is set to reopen at the beginning of April. Supported by the Senator for Environment, Climate, and Science, this garden aims to promote local climate and environmental conservation. Everyone is welcome to join and grow fruit and vegetables together.

The garden was created by the 'Huckelrieder Climate Experts', a project of the Martinsclub Bremen e.V. After the season opening on April 1st, which will involve building new raised beds and serving fresh waffles, the 'Garden Group' will meet every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm. No specific leader for the group has been mentioned. The garden is located in the Huckelrieder Vonovia settlement, opposite the barracks entrance at Niedersachsendamm 46-48, 28201 Bremen.

The reopening of the 'Red Beet' garden offers an opportunity for locals to engage in community gardening and contribute to environmental conservation. With the support of the Senator's funding program, this initiative encourages sustainable living and social interaction.
