Avtozavodsky District's 'Book on a Bench' Festival Brings Stories to Life on July 8
The Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod is set to host the 'Book on a Bench' festival for the first time on July 8. Organized by the Nizhny Novgorod City Department of Culture, the event is a collaboration between the Centralized Library System and the Avtozavodsky District Administration. The festival kicks off at 11:00 with the ceremonial opening of a 'reading bench' created by students and teachers of the Nizhny Industrial College.
The festival programme is packed with engaging activities for children. It begins with a theatrical reading of Beryostov's fairy tale 'Honest Caterpillar', followed by a lively puppet show. The day also includes an interactive quiz and a dance performance titled 'Friendship'. Every Wednesday, children can look forward to literary quizzes, intellectual duels, meetings with fairy tale characters, and games as part of the ongoing action. The most active participants will be rewarded with surprises and prizes.
The 'Book on a Bench' festival in Avtozavodsky District promises a day filled with fun, learning, and creativity. With a variety of activities lined up, it's an excellent opportunity for children to explore their love for books and stories in an engaging and interactive way.
