================================================================================

The small town of Kaiserswerth, nestled along the Rhine River, came alive with tradition and celebration last weekend as the annual Schützenfest Kaiserswerth took place from Friday to Sunday.

This year's festivities were particularly special, as the Junior Shooters, the youth of Kaiserswerth, celebrated their 100th anniversary. The event was marked by a grand procession and parade on Saturday afternoon, which saw the crowning of the new Student Prince Alexander von Knoop and Finn Frankenheim as the new Junior Shooting King.

Accompanied by the Crown Princess Couple Julia Henrichs and Torben Helfen, the Student Prince Justus Brokatzky, and the Junior Shooting King Ansgar Barsch with Adjutant Finn Frankenheim, they inspected the ranks of the assembled shooters. The Royal Couple Christian and Caro van de Locht also attended the event.

The parade concluded with the coronation and final salute of the new majesties, followed by the Suitbertus Company's victory in the shooting competition. Christian Kruger from the Suitbertus Company was crowned the new king at the festival.

Sabrina Kruger was crowned queen alongside her husband, Christian Kruger. The youngest participants also celebrated their 100th anniversary, with the event culminating in a lively celebration with the Oliver Bendels band.

Photos of the shooting festival, including the procession and parade, can be found in the picture gallery. If you wish to order pictures from the shooting festival, please send an email with the picture numbers to media@unsere Webseite.

The Oberst of Kaiserswerth, Christian van de Locht, was responsible for the procession and parade this year. The Aquila Dance Team also participated in the festival traditionally.

For those interested in attending next year's Kaiserswerth shooting festival, we recommend consulting the official Kaiserswerth Schützenverein website or local Düsseldorf event calendars closer to the date for the most up-to-date information on the schedule, majesties, parade times, and anniversary events.

In the spirit of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Junior Shooters, the home-and-garden section of the local newspaper could feature an article showcasing outdoor-living ideas for next year's Schützenfest Kaiserswerth, such as designing a courtyard with mature deciduous trees for the coronation ceremony or setting up a picnic area along the Rhine River with traditional German cuisine as part of the lively celebration. The small town of Kaiserswerth, known for its picturesque landscape and rich history, offers a unique opportunity to combine a lifestyle of tradition with a touch of contemporary outdoor-living.
