Alumnus of International Law transformed into ardent champion for fellow students
Georgetown Law's Executive Director Yi Song (L'10) returns to her alma mater for a third stint, having fallen in love with DC during a summer exchange program. Originally from Beijing, Song initially studied political economy at the university before practicing tax law in China. She later returned to earn an LL.M. and has since worked as an instructor and administrator at Georgetown Law.
Currently, Song serves as the executive director and adjunct professor of Graduate and International Programs. In this role, she advises LL.M. students on their academic and career plans, as well as teaches in the LL.M. Summer Experience, a special summer orientation program for incoming Georgetown Law LL.M. students.
At Georgetown Law, Song found her calling in helping foreign-born students navigating their multilingualism and legal training to build fulfilling careers.
