Firstly, on October 23 at 4 PM, the tour named "Plant Festival 'Harvest'" will take place, led by Jeanette Quegwer. This tour is part of the series "Lived Neighborhood Chemnitz 2025" and will provide insights into the world of amphibians, fish, reptiles, arthropods, and insects. About 30 aviaries and display cases will showcase finches, parrots, and budgerigars, providing a vibrant and educational experience.
On the same day, another event, "Reptiles and Amphibians in the Vivarium," will also take place, offering visitors a closer look at these fascinating creatures. Admission is free, with donations welcome.
For those interested in learning about the art of creating natural remedies, a seminar named "Healing Roots - Bouncing Bet Salve" will take place on October 12, from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. The seminar, which requires registration by October 1st and costs 40 Euro for admission, will process the fresh root of bouncing bet into an effective salve.
The "Bird Watch - Bird Exhibition of the Bird Lovers and Breeders Association e. V." is taking place at the Botanical Garden Chemnitz on October 25 and 26, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Children and young people are particularly in focus of this event, aiming to awaken interest in the bird world.
