Achievement in Aachen: City Hall's buses mark triumphant ending to a successful project
In the heart of Aachen, eight enthusiastic graduates have recently completed their apprenticeships as part of the 'Team Municipal Operations'. These graduates are now eager to face new challenges in various areas of the city's operations, from street sweeping to landscape gardening.
The graduation ceremony was an opportunity for the graduates to be informed about career and further training opportunities within the Aachen municipal operations. Marlon Knops, deputy director of the municipal operations, congratulated the graduates, praising their exceptional commitment and development throughout their training. The training manager, Michaela Landskron, also extended her gratitude to the graduates' trainers for their successful accompaniment during the apprenticeship.
The 850 employees of the Aachen municipal operations joined in congratulating the graduates, with Christoph Geilgens, who completed training as a street sweeper, being one of them. Joining him were Michael Fischer, Angelika Müller, and Maximilian Papesch, who completed their training in ornamental plant cultivation, and Simon-Daniel Collette, Markus Krauss, and Nils Lüdeke, who completed their training in landscape gardening. Leon Heutz completed his training as a cemetery gardener.
The graduates give the city of Aachen its beautiful face and appearance, playing a crucial role in maintaining the city's charm. As they move forward, they can look forward to a range of career opportunities within city administration, facility management, event planning, or related practical operational jobs.
