In the heart of Saarbrücken, the Schlossgarten will come alive with a diverse programme on July 27, as part of the "Sundays at the Castle" event series by Kulturforum Regionalverband Saarbrücken.

The day promises to be a treat for music lovers, families, and fans of open-air culture, with two exciting performances lined up. At 3:00 PM, the Theatre Rootsloffel from Nuremberg will present "Kasper and the Trash Monster" as part of the Kids series of "Sundays at the Castle". This play, intended for environmental activists aged five and up, aims to educate children about waste reduction in a fun and engaging way, filled with anarchic wit and slapstick. In case of rain, the performance will move to the castle cellar.

Admission to all events is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable day out for everyone.

For those seeking a more mature musical experience, British Blues-rock singer Sari Schorr & Band will take the stage at 11:00 AM in the Schlossgarten of Saarbrücken’s BürgerSchloss. Sari Schorr, considered one of the best contemporary blues-rock singers in the world, has been described as "dynamite" by renowned musician Robin Trower. A trained opera singer with a five-octave range, Sari Schorr's performance is sure to be a highlight of the day.

As the sun sets, the Kaye-Ree Trio will take over the stage at 6:00 PM. This trio serves up Acoustic Soul with influences from Folk, Pop, R'n'B, Hip-Hop, and Funk, promising an evening of soulful music.
